It seems to be very quiet, however I’m really not sure if recording equipment would pick the fan noise or not.

This has a very quiet fan (compared to my old computer), however I can hear it if the room is quiet, no TV music etc. I have some hearing loss so it may be louder than I think. Sorry I could not be of more help but I just wanted to give you an idea. It is quiet, whether or not it will work in a recording booth I can't say for sure.
