The processor can not be upgraded as it is soldered on the motherboard. You can increase the memory for around $40 which will give you more bandwidth and could help with speed, and you can replace the 1tB HDD with a 1TB SATA HDD for probably $200+ which would give you the most dramatic speed increases.
