I am currently looking for the same thing. I have found that the MSDS information is very helpful. Click on the cartridge that your printer uses and see if there is iron in it. Here is the site for HP ink : http://h22235.www2.hp.com/hpinfo/globalcitizenship/environment/productdata/ljmsdsuseng.html
