“Is there any issue with just replacing the Black ink cartridge in a Color printer? I don't believe I need the Color printing option but want to know if the Color cartridges need to be replaced in order to continue Black printing only?”

I don't believe so. You will receive warnings when the cartridge is getting low on toner, but I've found that I get a lot more use from the cartridge after the toner warnings begin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as none of the color toners aren't completely empty, you can replace just the black toner. When you go to print a document, you can specify that you want it in black only.
