I would think so. We purchased for use at work, and it has been great. We use Office 365 and have a VPN to connect to our cloud server and have not had any problems.

Data entry yes, accounting, programing or heavy usage on multiple pages no. It is a good surfing computer for basic needs, videos, spreadsheets or word but if used as a work from home it will have speed issues and space limits. I have another for a register at a store and it does well with the single task.

There are specific system requirements for each software utilized.
