“Just bought this and the humming sound from the monitor is very loud. I have tried all updates for HP and Windows and the sound kicks in whenever the computer is running. Any recommendations?”

I suggest contacting the manufacturer. My monitor also makes noise, which I believe is the cooling fan for the CPU. My cooling fan sounds like it is speeds up and slows down every second, and I find the constantly changing noise intolerable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I replaced the fan (manufactured by AVC) on a similar model (HP 22 All in One) and it makes the same constant high-low pitch noise. I think the fans are just defective and the bearings are slowly starting to fail. Will try replacing again with a compatible part by Delta.
