Hello. I also bought this computer. I didn't need to do anything do make it work. Everything I needed to make this device work was included in the package. In the package I found the computer, mouse, keyboard and batteries. I put the batteries in the back of the mouse and back of the keyboard. There is also a charging cord which I connected it to back of the computer and plugged it in. I hope this helps. This is how I set it up. Thank you.
