Thank you for the question. There are several ways to transfer files from an old machine to a new one. Use transfer cables, copy files to an external drve (flash drive), or use one of a number of software solutions currently marketed. The Geek Squad can do that for you at a reasonable cost also, and for most it's the best solution.
