It actually don’t dump out or drip out you tip it upside down and put it on the cartridge and it fills it.

Thank you for the question. Smart Tank ink bottles have a tight seal and when placed properly on the ink reservoir, no leakage will occur. The tank will gravity-fill and ink flow will stop once filled. Carefully remove the bottle and recap until needed for another refill.
