• The first question I’m not sure but to answer the second question, the difference between the HP-60 and the 60XL is that you can copy more on the XL. It’s more expensive but it will save you more money in the long run.

• The xl cartridge lasts quite a bit longer but it is more costly.

• The XL cartridges are larger than the standard. Any printer that uses 60 ink will also accept 60XL.
