• Unfortunately no; the DeskJet 2050 only uses the HP 61 Black and Tricolor cartridges.

• No it will not. You need to purchase the 61 Xl cartridge for that printer model if you want the high yield ink. Hope this helps.

• You have to use the HP61XL for that model. If you use the 60 it can ruin your printer and it won't work.

• I googled your question and it appears the correct HP ink for your HP Deskjet 2050 printer is the HP61. The HP61xl just gives you more printouts. It will last longer, but does cost more as well. My family and I do alot of printing, so I usually try to purchase the HP ink that has the xl on it. I hope this information helps you. Ask the staff at Best Buy and they can help you as well.

• The HP 60 and 60XL is not compatible with the HP DeskJet 2050, this printer only supports the HP 61 and HP 61XL cartridges.
