It has nothing to do with the printer it is your program and the size of the cards. check with the company that makes the cards, they recommend what you use & have been helpful for me.

If you can adjust both sides of the tray when you put your cards in, adjust to one side or the other. Use plain paper and draft ink setting to see if that helps with alignment. Try printing one page and see if that helps. You also didn't mention what program you are using. With most printers you can select the type of paper you are using and adjustments will be made automatically. Hope this helps.
