From my experience the non "XL" cartridges print about 300-400 pages. However, if the expiration date runs out, they will stop working. You will get a message to replace them with original HP cartridges. HP printers REALLY HATE generic or refilled ink cartridges. If you attempt to get help through the HP chat or phone service, be prepared to provide the numbers and expiration dates on your ink cartridges!

That would depend on how much ink is needed for what you're printing. I would say typically these print between 1/3 and 1/2 the amount that the XL cartridges will print.

It depends on what you are printing. Since the cartridges are half full then I would say half as much of pages. If you are printing pictures then it would be a whole lot less.

The Cartridge yield (approx.) per cartridge: 315 pages cyan, 315 pages magenta, 315 pages yellow.

Go to the HP website. Go to ink and then enter your printer model. The ink finder will tell you what ink is needed for your model printer no matter what HP model it is.
