• Yes the - the xl prints more pages worth the extra expense nearly doubles page count but not the price

• The only difference between these tow is that XL means more ink to print more pages, any cartridge that say XL means more ink

• When you get any cartridge that says XL it means it has more ink and prints more pages, that is why the cartridges are different sizes

• The 952 and 952XL will both work in the same printers. XL just means there's more ink in the cartridge so it will last longer. The actual cartridge size is the same, though, so it will fit fine.
