“Printer is deskjet 3637. less than 50 printed pages used...new ink just installed. display reads "empty" and Blinks an empty rectangular box.... frustrated!!!!! how do I fix???????”

First make sure the cartridge is seated correctly. Take it out and put it back in until it clicks in place. If that doesn't work, try taking a Q-tip and cleaning the ink ports, both on the cartridge and on the printer. Sometimes when it hasn't printed for a while, the ink will get dry. If that doesn't work, you may have gotten a bad cartridge. My printer is in my camper and sometimes it may not be used for a couple of months. I've had to replace the cartridge because the ink dried up. I now take out the cartridges and seal them in a small plastic bag until I need them. Hope this helps!
