I have an iMac desktop without a CD-ROM drive. The print driver is easy to download off the HP Smart website and connecting your laptop to the printer via Wi-Fi is easy once you link the two. Just make sure the printer is connected to you house Wi-Fi and then you will be able to locate the printer on your computer through the HP Smart driver. I also downloaded the app for my phone so I could print from my phone. HP made the set up very easy! My daughter was also able to connect her Chromebook to it once I sent her the link to the HP site!
