No, Switching between USB, Ethernet, and wireless connections (Windows only) ... The printer supports one active local (USB) connection and one active network connection (Ethernet or wireless) at a time. It is not possible to connect the printer to both Ethernet and wireless networks at the same time.

I would assume both could be active and depending on how you set up the printer on your laptop or the device you would select wired vs WiFi. I assume you cant have both on the same device but could have multiple devices connected at same time 1 using cable and other wifi. I do have multiple devices registered wirelessIy today
