Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP Deskjet 4155e printer is compatible with the new iMac computer. If your iMac has the USB A port, then you can connect the printer with the USB A to B cable. If you only have the USB C port, then you can use a USB C to USB A cable. Or you can connect this printer to a WiFi network.
