Is this compatible with a 5MHz connection null

The majority of HP printers only support 2.4GHz and do not have a 5GHz wireless signal. Most routers have dual band support. The difference in speed would just not have an effect on the printer and so the focus is on 2.4GHz which offers a longer range.
