“My mom's HP died recently. All she really does is look at aol emails and play solitaire that was a preloaded game on her computer. Is this a good computer for that? And does it have a few pre-installed games like solitaire? Thanks”

Yes, it would be an excellent computer for that kind of use, and while it doesn't have many games like that, solitaire can be easily downloaded.
