• Alex, thank you for your question about this HP laptop! The Maintenance and Service Guide, which is available for a free download from HP's support site, says to use a magnetic Phillips P1 screwdriver. HP also recommends that a professional employed at an authorized HP service center, such as Geek Squad, perform any servicing or upgrades.
