Hello, it is distressing to hear of this situation which you encountered. Occasionally there will be product which doesn't function as it should which is why all HP products have the 1 year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. Best Buy offers 14 days to return any of the devices purchased with them as well. Thank you for being an HP customer!
