“t how long is this computers life span? I was told it lasts around 8-10 years and maybe longer if you take care of it properly. Also how long do the hinges last for this computer about an estimate is fine. I leave it in laptop mode never tablet mode.”

Correction - i thought this question was for the surface studio i just leaving a review for. The HP envy i purchased is only a month old and so far has been great. Havent had it long enough for opinion on durability.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Paid 1700 and it lasted 11 months before the screen locked up and was unusable. Luckily it was under factory warranty. They dont repair but replaced with refurbished model. The replacement has a 90 day warranty. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. READ WARRANTY. I will not be buying another surface.
