“I am replacing an all-in-one printer of a different manufacturer. A serious frustration that I have with my current unit is that it's scanning function is inoperable if any of the cartridges is empty. Will the HP5055 scan if ink is empty?”

• Yes, it will. It will also print in Single Cartridge mode if one of the cartridges is empty. Simply remove the empty cartridge, and keep on printing!
