• I always use original ink cartridges. Refillable cartridges used by people I know have had success and failure with Them.

• Yes, it has drivers for Apple products with a fairly modern OS. We don't recommend refilling the cartridges as it can damage the printer. For a more cost-effective option using genuine HP cartridges, look to the HP Instant Ink program.
