“I have been unsuccessful in copying 5x7 photo onto photo paper. Am having trouble getting process to work. THe printer ejects the photo paper after I "copy" with nothing printed.on photo paper. I put photo paper in center of paper drawer.”

The copy function won't make as good a photo as printing it will. And copying is designed to copy onto regular-sized paper, not 5x7 photo paper. Photo paper is for printing on from a computer, phone or other device.
