Do the color ink cartridges have to be installed in order to print black and white? Another words could I only put black and white cartridges for the printer and still print black and white without having any color cartridges in the printer? null

Haven't tried it yet but the salesperson said printer would accommodate that.

This is an HP 2-cartridge printer, and hence you can print with a single cartridge if you want to. Simply remove the cartridge you don't want.
