“I haven't had a good experience with instant ink. I want a printer that I won't be required to use this service. I don't want to have my usage monitored either. I also don't want a printer where the paper gets easily jammed. Any recommendations?”

The HP "Instant Ink Ready" cartridges that come with most of our HP inkjet printers have two options. You can activate and enroll them with HP Instant Ink, OR you can choose to just use them as regular setup cartridges if you plan on buying cartridges in-store/online. This printer should fit your needs. When you install the full HP software drivers, you can opt out of anonymous usage reporting. You do not have to use HP Instant Ink, it is completely optional.
