Thanks for the replies to my question. It turns out that the question I should have asked was whether my Brother printer was compatible with Windows 11 (the computer I was using had Windows 10, but wasn't capable of updating to Windows 11). Unfortunately, I discovered my Brother Model MFC-7220 was one of the printers that Windows 11 did not support, so I had to buy a new printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bill, since most computers nowadays are USB, I don't think a printer is ever computer-specific. I'm not familiar with all Brother MFC series, but I'd be willing to bet they are all USB, not an ancient parallel port type.
