All of the USB 3 ports are located on the front of the tower. In the configuration that comes from the factory, there are only USB 2 ports on the back of the tower. One of the first things that I did after receiving this unit was to order and install a 2 port USB 3.0 Type A card (5 Gbps, full size card) using the PCIe x1 adapter on the mainboard to give me 2 USB 3.0 Type A ports on the back of the unit. To get 10 Gbps speeds out of your USB ports, you'd have to buy an expansion card that uses the PCIe x 16 expansion slot. They're available on Amazon, but you may also have to buy a Type C to Type A adapter to get exactly what you specified in your question.
