Does this printer fax null

It does not have the ability to fax directly from the unit. If you opt-in for HP+ during the setup, you can use the HP Smart Advance app to send a Mobile Fax, but then you would not be able to receive. If you would prefer to send and receive fax directly from the unit, you would want to look at the OfficeJet Pro line.
