Hello. Thanks for your question. If you have a wireless network in your home and your computer is wireless, you can set up this HP Envy Inspire 7955e printer on your wireless network. Then, you will be able to scan wirelessly. If you don't have a wireless network, you can use WiFi Direct. Wireless Direct (WiFi Direct) allows you to directly connect to a printer from a mobile device or computer without the need for internet access or a wireless network. You would connect to the printer’s wireless direct signal just like you would connect to a wireless network. The printer would have a unique name in your wireless connections, i.e. Direct-04-Printer. Yes. It can scan and send to a computer wirelessly. I have done it once. I have not tried it with a phone or tablet but I do think that works too.
