HP, read your own community chat boards to which your online help refers the User. Known issue! You know and admit in writing that power cycle is NOT a fix for ANY of us, and both HP tech supers. Dante and Reborn and GeekSquad say it is “not repairable.” You owe users a new printer not a refurbished lemon or a coupon worth 1/2 the value. Don’t render my printer obsolete then try to upsell me! You broke it, you fix it!

One way to clear the error is to cycle the power on the printer: You do this by holding down the power button until the printer turns off, unplug it, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This clears out the printer's volatile memory. If you still have the error, you can contact HP Support or even Geek Squad support if you're a member.
