“have hp 7640 all in one, copy function will not work, some items I can print from computer, faxes received have garbled lines rather blank, not printer well, can this be corrected, it not would 7855 be a better choice, thinking of purchasing this model”

The 7855 is a great model because it has more reliable dual band connection and a slightly different ink formulation. I would reach out to HP support for troubleshooting on your current model but if they do not have a solution I would get the 7855 as a good replacement.
