- Answer I will assume you meant 6455e and not 6555e. The 6455e version is an HP+ printer which means it qualifies for the 6 free months of Instant Ink and a 2nd year of warranty. The 6455 printer has neither of these benefits.

QuestionI understand the paper tray doesn’t accommodate legal paper, but will it print legal size if hand-fed?

- Answer I don't have any legal size paper to test this out. When you go into the settings it doesn't have legal size as an option but it does have the customize option. I tested to settings to see if it will allow me to print that size and it does. I'm now assuming that it will allow me to print it. Hope this helps.

QuestionJust got one of these and because of my computer at work I have it connected by USB. It has been frustrating to use as seems to work fine, then a little later it doesn't print at all. Sometimes I unplug it and works some times not. Suggestions?

- Answer I am having the same problem and I have it on wifi. This printer is horrible. The worst product that I have ever purchased. It keeps turning off and then I have to start the print all over again. There are no instructions at all.

- Answer Here are what the lights are for: Edge lighting: Glows blue, white, green, amber, or purple to show printer status. 2. Paper tray light: Indicates media errors or warnings such as out of paper, no pick, and paper mismatch. 3. Cartridge access door light: Curved strip of lighting in the top-right corner: Cartridge access door light: Indicates ink cartridge error. Ink cartridge lights: The black and color ink cartridges have a light for each that blinks to indicate an error. Open the door to investigate the issue.

Questionhow do I scan docs to my computer with my HP 6455 - I do not want to have to set up account at HP MFP Scan? I just want to feed my docs into my HP Envy Pro 6455, tell it the email address I want the docs to go to and then press SCAN, can I do that?

- Answer You will need to connect to the APP to scan! UGH ... I miss my previous HP printer where all i had to do was lock in an email address. But with this machine there are no buttons on it to select SCAN or PRINT or COPY. it has to be done through the APP

- Answer Red X is to cancel a print job. The other buttons that light up under the X are for for the copier functions. One will feed thru the top slot, the other copies whatever in on the glass.
