“Do I have to turn on the backlight on the keyboard or should it already be on?”

• The backlught on my computer comes on when I initially turn it on. It then turns off, most likely to use less of the battery. To keep it on I select the backlight key, above the number 5 key. It has a high, low and off setting.

• It could be turned off. It would be the f4 key to toggle it.
