Good question. Whether or not you can play games on this depends on which games you are trying to play. If it is a high-end graphics heavy game, then this computer may not be the best option unless you are willing to sacrifice the graphics and set it to low settings. You can play most casual games on this, though. As for downloading, this is a great computer to download music, movies, and games. It has a 1 TB hard drive which is lots of storage space. Regularly play internet golf and the graphics and responsiveness are great! Downloading is straightforward and reliable (just as you would expect from any PC).
