QuestionCan power supply and gpu be upgraded? What are some compatible 8gb gpu,s that will fit in case?

- Answer The power supply is not a standard size and is rated at 400w. I am not sure if you could fit a standard size PSU in the case. As far as the GPU there appears to be a hard limit of about 10inches physically, but for good airflow a 9 inches or less GPU would be ideal.

QuestionThe specs show the mother board has 1 PCI-E x16 Slot. I am looking to upgrade the card to the amd 590 which states it needs the PCI-E 3.0, Am I going to be able to add this card or will I not get full performance out of it?

- Answer You would need to remove the 580 to insert the 590, but keep in mind that the 590 uses more power and may require a power supply upgrade, which is neither cheap nor easy. We recommend a computer technician assist you and consult you further.

QuestionI was informed on a previous question the Ryzen 5 version of this computer couldn’t run Ultra HD videos (4K). Does this version work? I want a hp computer that’s runs UHD for Black Friday. Any advise? Thank you (pls answer - short on time haha!)

- Answer As someone who attempted this recently because the thermals are garbage, sadly you absolutely cannot. The motherboard is proprietary and doesn't have pretty much any of your standard headers to connect a new PSU or front IO. The front IO are actually an extension on the mATX mobo, so it is about an inch wider than standard. The PSU in this thing also will not fit in a typical case (very narrow).

- Answer Yes, you can upgrade this PC, and you can unscrew the outer housing to get to the innards when you upgrade it with more equipment.

QuestionJust installing this HP machine with dual monitors. The hdmi cable works from the hdmi port next to the 3 firewire display ports to one monitor fine. A VGA cable from the VGA port to VGA on a second monitor does not get a signal. VGA need something?

- Answer Yes- DVI-E, HDMI, and DISPLAY PORT are are digital signal. They support true 1080 - caviat (DVI-E only supports 1080i) HDMI and display ports will support 1080p and display port goes into 4k that being said, VGA is dead back in the 80's I wish people would get this term right because VGA doesn't exist anymore. these are SVGA you are referring to. and it is analog. physical port/cable adapter will not work. you need a converter (analog to digital converter) for the SVGA port to receive the signal. they are available, but money better spent on getting a better monitor.

- Answer The graphics card has 4GB dedicated RAM. Yes, there are 9 USB ports. The front has 2 USB 3.1-Type A and 1 USB 3.1-Type C. The back has 4 USB 3.1 and 2 USB 2.0.
