Yes, you'll still be charged the 2.99 per for 50 pages per month. Please keep in mind that it's a plan. It's still way less expensive than having to go to the store and purchase the ink.

You are already paying the monthly fee so it doesn't make any difference. I will say this however. These Instant Ink cartridges last a lot longer than the ones in retail stores. Amazing, right?

Yes, you are charged whether you use the ink or not. They give you roll-over pages, but if you can't use them, or cancel before you use them, you loose them.

Jeannette, that is a good question. I wondered that myself, as a new customer. I ordered my printer on March 3 & received it on March 7. On March 10 I received a new set of cartridges. Then a few days ago, April 4, i received notice that I was being shipped another set of cartridges. I am still on the original ones. I was notified that I had used my monthly allotment of 50 pages, but the beauty of a new printer is that I get 5 months free Instant Ink. Even if we are billed $2.99 per month that is still less per year that a set of cartridges purchased retail. Let me know what you find out. jr

Yes but the amount you will end up paying will be a whole lot less than the amount you would pay buying ink in the store. Also the instant ink cartridges have Much more ink.
