So even though you don't get ink you are still printing which goes on your monthly usage.

You should get a starter kit with a set of ink for your printer at the start. Save your old cartridges. If you cancel the program after installing the instant ink cartridges, HP disables the printer until you install your old cartridges or buy new ones at the store. See the photo....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You only get ink sent when your printer is at 40% or below ink levels. So, if your printer has not reached that yet, you will not get ink sent. You pay $5.33 a month for them to send it to you before you run out. Hope that helped.
