yes . 1 page is 1 page no matter you print color or black/white.- 1 line or a 8x 10 color picture

I print lots of photos at home and a ton of full color pages. I set everything at the highest quality print because I can. The program goes by pages and not ink quantity. We print way more than 300 pages a month but we save a ton of money because we can print whatever we want when we want it. I tried going off the program and almost died when I saw the price of ink. It saves money and it's nice to print everything in full color. We rejoined, lol.

Don't quote me, but I believe it keeps track of the ink and sends the information via Internet. The pages may be an estimate. But it could just be by the page. You can always cancel if it doesn't work for you. So far it is great. The ink just arrives in the mail. And you can save what you don't need yet.
