If you go over your allotted amount, you will automatically be bumped to the next tier for just that month. Following month will return to whatever plan was initially picked

The ink cartridges are mailed to you and replenished when needed all for the low monthly cost of the plan you choose. No extra cost for the cartridges when sent to you. Just 2.99, 4.99, or 9.99 per month.

The cartridges are free even if you go over your limit. You'll pay a penalty if you go over.....I think its like a dollar for 15 pages. But the cartridge is still free. I've had mine since Dec.2014. Received my first cartridges within a week of setting up my printer. Your "clock" doesn't start ticking until you put in the cartridges that you get in the mail. The cartridges in your printer box will not sync up to the net and count against you.

it only cost for the amount of pages you want a month, when hp sees you are getting low, they send the ink to you. you dont pay for the ink, just the monthly charge for the quantity of pages you want.

You don't pay for any cartridges at all. You pay the monthly fee for the plan you choose and the printer notifies HP when you are running low on ink and they automatically send the ink to you. The first 2 months are free pages then your subscription begins. You can cancel at anytime too. I think it is $1 for 10-15 pages for your plan. It tells you how many when you sign up.
