• You'll need to connect with a USB cable at the appropriate time in the install process.

• Thank you for reaching out! Although it has a USB port, the M140we requires access to the internet (WiFi only). A USB connection is not recommended for this reason, as it will disable the wireless connection. I recommend contacting HP Support directly for technical support to resolve this WiFi connectivity issue.

• I Don't know. We specifically wanted a printer/copier that would operate separately from the computer since we have another printer connected to the computer.
