• The black is the regular size cartridge, rated at 2000 pages. The color cartridges that come with the printer are rated at 1000 pages each, compared to 1800 pages for the standard fill cartridges.

• The black carriage it came with just gave me a low ink error, I’m barely at 1,000 pages. I’ve been keeping track of my print jobs. I wonder how much is left in it. The pages I’m printing are mixed with color. Mostly church tracks and instruction manuals for electronics products. Nothing crazy. I would hope this ink will last a lot longer than 1,000 pages mildly populated with words
