“Are the toners for the discontinued M477fdw Color All in One and M479fdn Color All in One interchangeable?”

• Unfortunately, no. The 477fdw uses the 410A toner, while the 479fdn uses the 414A toner. They're not interchangeable.

• I have observed both cartridges and saw just one physical difference that prevents the 410 toners not to fit. Removing extra studs on both sides of cartridge should make it fit. have not tried it but think the only thing to prevent ir would be a digital signature.
