Thank you for the question. No. And printer heads should not need to be cleaned monthly. When the printer is on 24/7 (even in sleep mode), it can monitor the viscosity of the ink (this avoids clogging the printheads). If needed, the printer will alert you to run a cleaning cycle if necessary. If you do not print often, it's a good idea to send one small print job to the printer every week or so, to keep everything working properly.
