Through the hp smart app you can follow the steps and setup ur subscription once you have complete the printer setup. You enter your printer's serial number and follow instructions.

To get the 6 months of free HP Instant Ink with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e, you need to do the following: 1) Set up your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e wireless, so it has a wireless internet connection. 2) During the initial printer set up, opt-in to the free HP+ program. 3) Subscribe to HP Instant Ink and select a print plan. If you have problems setting up your printer, please contact HP Support.
