Yes, you can send and receive faxes with the OfficeJet Pro 8025e.

Maybe. It claims to be a scanner but has very limited scanning capability. I would suspect there are issues with the fax feature as well. This is really just an inkjet printer. I won't scan or copy two-sided documents. It also doesn't print two-sided.
