- Answer I do not Fax with my HP Officejet, so I can't give you a complete answer. However, I will tell you this: the Scan feature goes from computer to printer, unlike the HP 6520 printer I used to have which went from printer to computer. Based on what I just explained to you, my educated guess is that the HP Officejet goes from computer to printer, provided that the printer and computer are compatible. I have an HP Envy laptop which is 100% compatible with my HP Officejet 8025. HP has a toll free printer specialist number: 800-565-9917. They are available 8 A.M. til 2 A.M. Eastern Standard Time 7 days a week. They will most surely be able to help you!
