“How can I do 2 sided scanning through the ADF? Every choice I make scans the front of the page, but does not allow me to reinsert to get the back side of the page.”

You may place the original on the Flatbed Glass and select Two-Sided printing from the Copy Settings menu, then the printer will prompt to manually reload the other side.
